The Canadian Volunteer Income Tax Program is a collaboration between the Selkirk Community Renewal Corporation and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). The Selkirk Community Renewal Corporation hosts free tax preparation clinics and arrange for the volunteers to complete income tax and benefit returns for eligible individuals. The CRA provides the coordinators to guide the organizations as they deliver the program, and offers training and tax software for the volunteers.
If you are a low income resident residing in the City of Selkirk you may be eligible to participate in the Canadian Volunteer Income Tax Program.
